Random South Korea Address Examples, Format and Postal Code Guide

This fake and random South Korea address generator provides realistic Korean address examples for software development, form validation, database testing, education and address-format research. Its local dataset contains approximately 9,000 structured address records derived from OpenStreetMap. The dataset covers all 17 first-level administrative regions of South Korea and 265 districts, cities or counties. Every base record contains a building number, road name and five-digit postal code. Locality information such as a dong, eup, myeon or ri is displayed when it is available in the source record. Generated Korean names, phone numbers, email addresses, identity fields and payment fields are synthetic test data.

How the South Korea address generator works

Choose a South Korean province, special city, metropolitan city or special self-governing region, then select an available district. You can also leave both selectors in random mode and click the generate button. The generator selects a compatible address record and adds a Korean name, gender, test mobile number and email address. When locality information exists, it is included in the generated result. Random mode currently uses the Seoul address pool rather than selecting from every region. Selecting a specific region or district generates an address from matching regional records. Static JSON data is loaded and processed directly in the browser; generating an address does not call a remote address-generation API. Saved results are stored in the browser's local storage.

South Korea address example and standard format

A locally formatted Korean road address generally places the broader administrative region before the district and road address. Example: 서울특별시 강남구 청담동 선릉로 830 06014 대한민국. This contains Seoul Special City, Gangnam District, Cheongdam-dong locality, Seolleung-ro 830, postal code 06014 and the Republic of Korea. A generated address may therefore use the format Province or Metropolitan City, District, Locality, Road Name and Building Number, Postal Code, South Korea. Locality information is included only when it exists in the selected source record.

How South Korean postal codes work

South Korea currently uses five-digit postal codes. The present five-digit system replaced the former six-digit system in 2015. Postal codes identify geographic delivery areas and help organize mail routing and address data. The generator preserves the road address, district, region and postal-code combination from each selected base record. A postal code should not be guessed independently from the city or district; for reliable testing, the complete address record should be used as one connected set of fields.

Seoul, Busan, Incheon and other regional address examples

The dataset contains records from all 17 first-level administrative regions of South Korea, including Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, Ulsan, Sejong, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, North and South Chungcheong, North and South Gyeongsang, North and South Jeolla, and Jeju. Coverage is not distributed equally between every city and district. Select a region first and then choose one of the districts available in that regional address pool. Random mode currently generates from Seoul; select another region manually to generate a Busan, Incheon, Daegu or other regional address example.

Korean names, phone numbers and email addresses

Every result includes a Korean first name, family name and matching gender. Korean family names are selected using approximate frequency weighting, so common surnames such as Kim, Lee and Park appear more often than less common surnames. Generated mobile numbers use the South Korean international calling code and the common test format +82 10-1234-5678. The number follows a familiar South Korean mobile-number structure but is not guaranteed to be assigned, active or able to receive calls or text messages. Email addresses are generated from the Romanized form of the selected Korean name and a common email domain. They are fictional test addresses and are not connected to the person or location represented by the base address.

RRN-format identity and credit-card test fields

When identity information is enabled, the page generates a date of birth, age, occupation and a Resident Registration Number or RRN-style test value. The RRN-style value follows the expected 13-digit structure, uses birth-date and gender information consistently, and includes a checksum digit. It is generated for format and validation testing only and is not government-issued, officially verified or associated with a real Korean resident. When credit-card information is enabled, the generator creates Visa, MasterCard or American Express test fields with the expected number length and a valid Luhn checksum. The card number, expiration date and CVV are fictional and are not connected to a bank account or payment network.

Address data source and verification

The base address records were selected from publicly available OpenStreetMap data. They preserve available relationships between building number, road name, locality, district, region and postal code. Many base locations can be searched on Google Maps or OpenStreetMap for reference. However, public mapping data may change, contain spelling differences or omit recent updates. A generated result is not guaranteed to represent a currently occupied building, active recipient or deliverable mailing address. Generated names, contact details, identity fields and payment fields are not taken from people associated with the source addresses.

Suitable testing and development uses

Generated South Korean addresses are suitable for website and application testing, Korean address-form validation, region and district selector testing, postal-code field testing, database and CRM sample records, checkout-form development, localization testing, software demonstrations, education and Korean address-format research. Generated data must not be used to impersonate another person, bypass identity verification, create misleading billing information or complete real financial transactions.

South Korea Address Generator FAQ

What is a South Korea address generator?

A South Korea address generator is an online tool that creates random Korean address examples in a realistic local format. It can generate a road address, locality when available, district, province or metropolitan city, five-digit postal code and full formatted address for software testing, development and address-format reference.

What information can the Korean address generator create?

Each result includes a South Korean address example, Korean name, gender, test mobile number and email address. Address fields include a building number, road name, district, region, postal code and full address. Locality information is included when available. Optional settings can also generate a date of birth, occupation, RRN-style test value and credit-card test fields.

What is the standard South Korea address format?

A common Korean road-address format is Province or Metropolitan City, District, Road Name and Building Number, Postal Code, South Korea. A dong, eup, myeon or ri locality may also appear when it is available. Korean addresses normally progress from broader administrative areas to more specific road and building information.

How do South Korean postal codes work?

South Korean postal codes contain five digits. The current system was introduced in 2015 and replaced the former six-digit postal-code system. Postal codes identify geographic delivery areas, so the district, region and postal code should be kept together with the corresponding road address.

Can I generate Seoul, Busan or Incheon address examples?

Yes. The dataset covers all 17 first-level administrative regions of South Korea, including Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, Ulsan, Sejong, Jeju and the Korean provinces. Select a region and then choose an available district. Random mode currently uses the Seoul address pool rather than selecting from every region.

Are these fake Korean addresses real and verifiable?

The generated profile is fake because its name, phone number, email address, identity information and payment fields are synthetic. The base address fields come from public OpenStreetMap records and preserve available building-number, road, locality, district, region and postal-code relationships. Many base locations can be checked on mapping services, but no result is guaranteed to be current, occupied or deliverable.

Can I use a South Korea address for Apple ID registration?

The generator can provide a realistic-format South Korea address example for testing how an Apple ID address form handles Korean roads, districts, regions and postal codes. However, generated details should not be used for a real Apple ID registration, billing profile, identity verification or regional-restriction bypass. Real accounts should use accurate information belonging to the account holder and comply with Apple's terms.

Is the South Korea address generator free?

Yes. The South Korea address generator is free to use online and requires no registration or software installation. Address generation uses static data loaded by the browser, making the page suitable for quick form testing, development, demonstrations and Korean address-format research.
