1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to the mockaddress global address generator (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and mockaddress, governing your use of the Service.

By accessing, browsing, or using the Service, you indicate that you have read, understood, and fully agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please stop using the Service immediately.

2. Service Description

mockaddress provides an online address generation tool that can generate real format address information for locations such as the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, etc., primarily for software development, testing, data filling, form simulation, and educational purposes.

This Service is a purely front-end static tool, and all generated data is completed locally in the user's browser and is not uploaded to any server. The address information is generated based on the OpenStreetMap API and other publicly available open-source data sources (such as GitHub) for reference only and does not represent the existence of any real location or individual.

3. Usage Restrictions and Prohibited Actions

You agree to strictly adhere to the following provisions when using the Service:

  • The Service or generated addresses may not be used for any illegal, fraudulent, or unlawful purposes;
  • It is prohibited to use the generated addresses for any real identity verification, registration, or validation, including but not limited to:
    • Registering an Apple ID, Google account, bank account, payment platforms (such as PayPal, Stripe, credit card verification), or other online services;
    • Filling out government forms, tax declarations, contracts, lease agreements, identification documents, or other legal documents;
    • Engaging in identity theft, money laundering, fraud, circumventing geographical restrictions, false advertising, or other illegal/violating activities.
  • The generated addresses may not be used, claimed, or submitted to any third party as real addresses;
  • You may not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, crack, or circumvent any features, security measures, or usage restrictions of the Service;
  • Without explicit written permission, you may not use automated scripts, crawlers, bots, or any non-human means to access or generate data in bulk;
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercialize the content, code, or generated results of the Service in any way.

For any violation of the above, we reserve the right to terminate your access immediately and retain the right to pursue legal liability.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and all related content (including but not limited to website design, text, code, interface, generation logic) are owned by mockaddress or have been legally authorized, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Without our explicit written permission, you may not copy, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, republish, distribute, or commercially exploit the content of the Service.

5. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranties or guarantees, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or error-free operation.

The generated address information is based on publicly available open-source data sources and is for testing, development, learning, and format reference purposes only. We do not assume any responsibility for:

  • The accuracy, authenticity, availability, or legality of the generated addresses;
  • Consequences arising from users using the generated data in any real scenarios (including account anomalies, platform bans, legal liabilities, economic losses, etc.);
  • Service interruptions, delays, data loss, technical failures, or viruses;
  • Any issues arising from changes or errors in third-party data sources (such as OpenStreetMap).

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, mockaddress and its officers, directors, employees, agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, reputational damage, or other commercial losses.

This limitation of liability applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Changes and Termination of Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, limit, or permanently terminate the Service (or any part thereof) at any time without prior notice or liability.

You may stop using the Service at any time without notifying us. Stopping use terminates your rights to the Service.

8. Modification of Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be published on this page and will take effect from the date of publication (based on the "Last Updated" date).

Your continued use of the Service after the Terms have been revised constitutes acceptance and agreement to the revised Terms. We recommend that you regularly review this page.
